Moving upstream: The need for pharmacists to address food security

During my master degree, a capstone project was required. At the time, I learned how Social Determinants of Health (SDoH) impact our daily lives. I was inspired to explore how pharmacists can impact SDoH and in doing so, wrote this commentary in JAPhA in early 2020. The article was sent back for edits. During the COVID years, the article was deprioritized. During and post COVID, the impact of SDoH declared itself loudly and the need to revisit this article came to fruition in collaborating with my colleagues at Cedarville University in 2025.
